Request account deletion.
You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data without installing the app or signing in.
1Send your request
Email support@membersdotio.com from the email address used for your Members.io, MDI - Business, MDI - Driver or MDI - Marketing account. Use the subject “members.io account deletion request”, name the app and any linked business, and tell us that you want your account and associated personal data deleted.
If you cannot access that email address, contact the same support address and explain this. We will need to verify your identity before processing the request. Do not send passwords, login codes, BVNs or full card details.
In MDI - Business, open Settings → Security → Request account deletion. In MDI - Driver, open Me → Request account deletion. In MDI - Marketing, open Me → Delete account. Members.io users can use account settings or email the support address above. Opening an email draft or this page does not send a request; send your email when you are ready.
2Your account and data
Ask us to delete your account and associated personal data, including your account profile and contact information. We will explain what can be removed and any records that must be retained when handling your request. Eligible account data, including backup copies, is deleted within 30 days after identity verification. You may also request deletion of particular personal data without deleting your entire account.
Deleting your account does not cancel a separate paid booking or membership with a business. Participating businesses maintain their own records.
3Records that may be retained
Transaction, security and dispute records may need to be retained where a legal obligation or unresolved matter applies. We will explain any exception and its applicable retention period when handling your request. See our privacy policy for the existing retention and deletion policy.
